About Me

My educational journey in language instruction has been both extensive and diverse. During high school, I chose to major in English, setting the foundation for my future in language teaching. This early decision sparked my interest in becoming a multilingual educator and paved the way for my subsequent academic pursuits.

At university, my passion for languages deepened. I engaged in numerous leadership conferences that honed my skills in guiding and mentoring others. My academic curriculum included English Language Teaching classes that provided me with essential pedagogical methods and practices. Additionally, I expanded my linguistic capabilities by taking courses in Spanish and Arabic. I also delved into linguistics, which offered profound insights into the science of language, and I took courses in fundraising and project development, which were instrumental in understanding how to effectively support and expand educational programs. My interest in merging technology with education led me to take game design courses, further broadening my instructional repertoire.

After university, my commitment to personal and professional development continued through self-training in instructional design, game development, website building, AI training, prompt writing, and SEO. I remained active in the academic community by participating in conferences and teaching symposiums. My professional journey took a significant step forward when I was awarded the prestigious Fulbright FLTA Scholarship, allowing me to teach Turkish at New York University. During my time at NYU, I also took additional courses, including German and a course on Social Media in Learning Environments (SMILES), which enhanced my abilities to integrate social media tools into educational settings. These experiences have not only enriched my teaching methods but also reinforced my commitment to becoming a leader in the field of language education.
